What do I receive with a one-time investigation?
Both the underlying micro-signal stream and the intelligence Mel generates from it. The signal stream contains the sourced information collected during the investigation. The intelligence layer connects and interprets those signals to answer the objective.
What changes when I select a deeper research level?
The amount and breadth of web research. Focused research searches directly for the micro-signals needed to answer the objective. Deep research performs broader sweeps, learns the market and its information landscape, discovers additional sources and entities, and searches those paths for more signals. Exhaustive research keeps expanding the search in an attempt to uncover every relevant public micro-signal it reasonably can.
What counts as a Connected objective?
Several distinct but related questions that need to be investigated together. If answering one question requires Mel to investigate several other questions as part of the same objective, choose Connected.
Why is 1 to 3 years Custom?
The amount of searchable historical information varies significantly between markets, companies and source types. We scope longer historical investigations before giving you a price rather than applying an arbitrary multiplier.
Why are Strategic programs Custom?
A strategic program can involve multiple objectives, markets, company groups or research paths. The possible scope is too broad for a meaningful fixed price.
Is ongoing monitoring included?
No. The prices above are for the one-time baseline investigation. Ongoing monitoring is scoped separately because its cost depends on monitoring volume, frequency, alert speed and delivery requirements.
